Coaches, Welcome!

We encourage you to sign up alongside your athlete. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned pro, we need YOU and have resources available to help you succeed. 


Rec Clinics (Grades 1 & 2)

For our youngest athletes in 1st & 2nd grade, the journey begins with instructional clinics. These sessions are held on Saturdays throughout the season and are designed to introduce the very basics of basketball - dribbling, passing, and shooting - in a high-energy, fun setting. There are no formal games or standings at this level; instead, the focus is entirely on getting kids comfortable with a ball in their hands and teaching them the joy of movement.


Fees:

  • $100 (sibling discount not applicable)


Season Dates:

November 7, 2026 - January 30, 2027 (subject to change slightly)


Rec League (Grades 3 thru 8)

In these divisions, players are placed on teams and participate in regular practices and games. While the competition becomes more organized, the core focus remains on skill development and equal participation.


Available Divisions:

  • Boys: 3rd/4th; 5th/6th; 7th/8th
  • Girls: 3rd/4th; 5th/6th


Fees:

  • Early Registration Rate: $180 (now through August 31)
  • Regular Registration: $190 (September 1–30)
  • Late Registration: $200 (after October 1)
  • Sibling Discount: $10 off for each additional player in the same family (does not apply to clinic registrations)


Season Dates:

November 7, 2026 - February 10, 2027 (subject to change slightly)


Travel Basketball Tryouts (Grades 4 thru 8)

For players looking for a more competitive experience, Sandwich Youth Basketball offers a town travel program for both boys and girls in grades 4 - 8.


Fees:

  • No cost to register for tryouts.
  • Tryouts will be held October 9 - 16, 2026. Click here for the detailed schedule.
  • Tryouts are mandatory and all players MUST be registered prior to attending.
  • Once rosters are finalized, families will be sent a link to complete registration with the season fee.


Season Dates:

November through mid-February.
