Sandwich Youth Basketball
25^th Annual Marsh Madness Tournament

February 29^th, March 1^st & 2^nd 2008
5^th, 6^th, 7^th  & 8^th Grade Boys & Girls

Sandwich Youth Basketball is hosting its 25th Annual Marsh Madness Basketball Tournament
No AAU Teams. Players must be a player/resident of the town.

Age requirements are Grade specific

8th Grade Boys and Girls must be born after 8/31/92
7th Grade Boys and Girls must be born after 8/31/93
6th Grade Boys and Girls must be born after 8/31/94
5th Grade Boys and Girls must be born after 8/31/95

Birth Certificates are REQUIRED at the tournament before players are eligible to play

ENTRY FEE of $250.00 must be received 2 weeks prior to the tournament

Registration is not confirmed until Entry Fee & Roster are received

Trophies will be given to Champion & Runner-up: 12 trophies per team.

TOURNAMENT: Pool Format, Guaranteed 3 Games, 12 players per team max
Players may not double roster 

GAME REGULATIONS:

A)   2- 12 minute halves, stop time

B)   If tied after regulation, 1 or more 3 minute over times will be played as required

C)   Each team is allowed 3 time outs, with 1 additional per O.T.

D)   1&1 on the 7th foul only – NO 2 shots on 10th foul

E)    Defenses

a)     6^th, 7^th & 8^th Boys and 7^th & 8^th Girls - High school rules apply (i.e. full court press except if leading by 12 or more and zone defenses allowed)

b)    5^th Boys and 5^th & 6^th Girls - Only half court man-to-man defense allowed, full court press in the last 2 minutes of regulation & all of O.T.  (NO ZONES)
